Happy Happy Birthday!!

So as you will see this is definately 2nd child... (sorry Jace) With Isaac's 1st we had it planned for weeks... I MADE his first cake... and on and on and on... This one.. we had company at our house, I had a massive head cold , and after cake try #2 flopped I made a 'stat' phone call to Daddy to stop at DQ and pick up a cake... So hopefully one day Jace will forgive me...

We had an awesome time with some good friends, little and Big and a great day for BBqing.. Daddy was only too glad to stand post over his 'machine' and cook up some 40 burgers.. YIKES.... And even though there didn't seem to be a tonne of kids Uncle Duane did wonder 'when this daycare closed'.... Anyways none the less the 1st year of this little man's are behind us... and as sad as it makes me almost 99% of the time, I must admit there is a tiny part of me that is sooo relieved that he is not so little and fragile anymore... You'll notice the cake makes mention to "little bear"... Ever since he was born his nickname has been "Little Bear".. (nicknamed by his dad ) for his ferociousness... mostly to do with food... Ironically the Edmonton Sports Team is the Bears ... (where he was born), He is growly when you take his food, and when he learned to crawl - will crawl on all fours... knees not touching the ground... (oh and he also attacks his food much like a little black bear)... Anyways its hard to believe how fast time does go by once you have kids... Its like you are on a runaway train with no brakes....

So Happy Birthday Little Bear!!! We love you...

Happy birthday little man. Hope it was great. Can't believe it's been a year. Time flies!! :)

Someday it will not matter how big my house is, how much money is in the bank, or where i have travelled.. only that I have been important in the life of a child...
