Happy Belated Birthday...

How bad is this... I forgot my dad's birthday. We were in such a tail spin from coming home from Tyler and Sara's wedding, having our house broken int0... and then heading off to the cabin that I forgot to wish my dad a happy birthday. There is no one like my dad. As patient as Job, soft as a marshmellow, as kind and as gentle as a baby deer... and one who I looked up to ... ALWAYS... there is something very special about our dad and that is his relationship with his "Girls".... He is always happy to give us a cuddle or let us sit on his knee... (thanks mom for sharing him). And he loves his grandkids... Poppa.. He is always successful in getting a smile, and/or giggle from them. When i went looking for a man to spend my life with... I wanted him to be just like my dad. Thanks for your example, steadfastness, supporting mom in staying home with us hooligans (in giving us the best start in life ever..) , love and all the hugs and kisses.. Happy Belated Birthday Dad... We love you.

Last Bachelor In Saskatoon..... Status "MARRIED"

Wow.. what a whirlwind tour of South Dakota. BUt we would highly recommend it... Beautiful!!!!

So the most eligible bachelor in Saskatoon/Saskatchewan... is MARRIED>.. wow.. We had just a fabulous time welcomed heartly by Sara's family the "Pies"... wonderfuly people. We then made our journey out to "Sylvan Lake" where the wedding would take place. We stayed in some very quaint cabins right at the lake. The wedding day was perfect. A bright and sunny morning.. followed by a little thunder storm.. just to give the groom jitters... with beautiful ceremony weather.. followed by a few drops of rain to add good luck to their day. Well... the pictures say it all. Welcome to the family Sara... DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU"RE GETTING INTO? Heee Hee...

On the Road Again....

Well... we've had a brief (one week) respite from our "wedding tour" and are off again. This week "Tyler - Saskatchewan's last bachelor" gets married... and we are thrilled.. Isaac is especially excited about another women in his life. So we will get you pics as soon as this momentous occasion happens. However here are some pictures of our favorite man... I mean what else do we do but take pictures of "our" little munchkin.

Happily Ever After....

The wedding tour has begun. We just got back from Victoria from Jay and Brit Upham's wedding. Wade said that if he ever got married again ... this would be the place... I asked him if it would be to the same girl.,.. I guess the verdict is still out on that one... (smile). Anyways they got married at the beautiful Overby Resort on Thetis Island. Just off of Victoria. A beautiful couple, a beautiful place ... definately blessed by the beauty of the "peace of God". What more can I say. Theres something so special about a wedding thats good for everyone. It makes your own heart go pitter patter again, as you remember the feeling you had on your wedding day. Its the little moments when you see the groom see the bride for the first time when your own husband winks at you... its when the groom is singing to his bride "I'd still have you"... that my hubby whispered... "I'd still have you"... aaahhhh.. I can truly say that i'd marry him all over again. Of course this time we had little Isaac saying "YEAH"... or something too. Anyways it was just an awesome weekend spent with a special couple and special friends. Also spent a little time with another cool "couple"... my monies on them. You'll have to guess who that was. Anyways it was a great trial run for another exciting wedding coming up. 10 days to go???
