Thanksgiving 2008

Thanksgiving found us with Wade's family in Guananoche ON ... A special time touring the Thousand Islands, Hart Island, and other amazing sights. If you haven't been its a MUST SEE... The fall colors were all out in all their brilliance.  We feel especially aware this year that we have so much to be thankful for.  Its 2 smiling faces that greet you with giggles in the morning , and a little 2 year old who just can't hug or kiss his brother enough... or comes up to his mom and says "Mom.. uggg"... Who never tires of his "Happy Dance" when his dad arrives home from work.  Its a man who works soo hard to provide for his family and almost always leaves in the morning whistling. Its a very special little baby (who we can't imagine life without) who just sits and watches you with his mega watt smile on hold - waiting to catch your eye to give you his HUGE smile...  I've been inspired by a quote that I saw just the other day...

" The most important work you and I will ever do... will be within the walls of our own Homes"

So to everyone who has touched our lives... we are thankful to you.. for enriching and encouraging us...

Welcome Home Gramma & Poppa - LobsterFest!!

The Lobsters... Alive and Scratching...
It's a messy sport...
YUMMMMMM
Isaac's not so sure he's a fan...

Gramma and Poppa Johnson were gone on their tour of the East Coast for 5 weeks... They had such a good time we were starting to get worried they weren't coming back... Anyways here is their welcome home party.. aka "The Last Supper" (at our old house), we were so excited to see them we decided to have LOBSTER.... joking. They brought them back with them... alive and well.... Delicious...
Someday it will not matter how big my house is, how much money is in the bank, or where i have travelled.. only that I have been important in the life of a child...
