6 Weeks and Counting Down....

Just getting a bit anxious for this little soccer player to arrive... 6 weeks and counting down. (a belly shot for my hubby - thanks Marci)... I wasn't letting anyone take pics when I was pregnant with Isaac so really have nothing to compare it to.. but at this stage feel like a walrus anyways.

You'll notice the belly button.. to me that says "Done" ... doesn't it.

A Day At The Park

What to do when you have kids... that are a wee bit testy... and you are feeling a little bit housebound. Call up your sis and take the kids to the park. We also did a bit of testing out the new camera.... with her teaching me all she knows... Just a bit of fun really.. The kids are cute - which really helps the lack of photography skills.. Just so nice to have a camera again. Especially with my little man "growing up"....

Hope

Today Isaac and I got to meet Scott and Robin Tomlinson's little baby Hope... What a great day for a little Hope. She is soo darling...

Reno Club

About a year ago we formed the "Reno Club"... the concept was that we all had projects around the house that needed doing but never got done as they alone were quite mundane.... so the theory was that if a group of us got together we could tackle quite a bit of work in one day, have some fun... and good food. To date our members are : Reid and Kellie Anderson, Gavin & Sharmi Brown, Ryan and Corinne Bailey and us...

In one day we have accomplished...

A: painting exterior stucco, installed new front door, finished siding garage and a few other misc. tasks.

B: layed laminate flooring in 3 bedrooms, new lino in bathroom, touch up paint on existing trim, and new wainscotting in one bedroom..

B: exterior retaining wall around deck and patio area, and 2 sides of fence

And the Stewarts... my list was so long we are saving it for last...

Joking. Now that we have decided not to move and are staying in our little cozy home we'll try something for this fall... anyways a great time is always had by all ... and BBQ's following keep getting better... Here are some pics from the latest project at the Bailey's.

Randomness

After surviving... barely without a camera for almost a month... we are finally back in business. Here are some random shots of what's happened between now and then...

Isaac has now graduated to a "Big Boy Bed"... yeah... more exciting for us i'm sure, and now means that we have a little pair of cold feet sometimes join us at 5 in the morning... (we're really not complaining)

My awesome husband bought and put up for me a new dining room light... (ok it doesn't take much these days) and a view at my latest painting project..

A fabulous weekend spent with Derek Hurlburt , Brady Anderson and Wade's auntie Agnes in Lacombe... you should try it... a great little town... and possibly our last weekend away before we head to Edmonton for our baby's birth...

So sorry for keeping you waiting on pics from Maui... However, Day 2 our camera/video camera was stolen.. ughhghgh.. That's what you get when you decide to spend the $$ on something... Gone... Oh well. Here is a few pics of our amazing trip with Reid and Kellie Anderson. We also met up with my sister Marci and Ryan Moe and Crystal and Carlyn Howden over there... Missing are pics of our brief - but wonderful day with Troy , Renee and the kids on the Big Island, and our night and day with old friends from last year Bob and Wendy from Bend, OR.. a whirlwind tour but definately worth it.... We had such a great time that by day 5 Wade and Reid were talking to the locals trying to line up some work .....
